It doesn't matter whether you're an artist or an entrepreneur; we all require a little creative thinking in our work. However, all of us suffer from creative blocks from time to time. If you’re stuck in a rut and are unable to think of innovative ideas, here is a list of things you can do to get those creative juices flowing again!

1) Brainstorming Sessions:

Get a group of people together and start innovating! This helps because it might be possible that your colleagues have the answers to the questions that confuse you!  No idea is too ridiculous. Help build each other’s ideas. State any outlandish idea.Exaggerate ideas to the extreme. Keep each idea short, do not describe it in detail - just capture its essence. After the brainstorming select the ideas worth executing. You can use for taking the brainstorming sessions to a new level.

2) Dreams :

Sleeping not only relaxes you, but takes you into the world of dreams. Your subconscious mind thinks of the most bizarre and creative ideas while dreaming. To induce creative dreams you can read interesting books on the topics of your interest. Your subconscious mind will wander around those topics in your dreams. These vivid dreams can really help you in boosting your creativity

3) Engaging in activities :

Neuroscience suggests that approximately 80-90% of thinking is done by the subconscious brain. So don't try too hard to consciously overcome a creativity block by over thinking about it. Allow your mind to do the work and it will happen. Keep yourself engaged in other activities. When thoughts do come - have a pen and paper notebook handy to jot them down.  Have one on your desk, in your handbag, and by your bed at all times.

4) Think INSIDE the box :

All your life you've probably heard "think outside the box". What is wrong with thinking in a more conventional way? Nothing! In fact, when you think INSIDE the box, you can find a lot of materials that inspire you. And everyone needs a little inspiration. Instead of thinking completely differently (which is not only hard, but ignores the principles of work), think inside the box and build on those already-useful ideas in new ways.

5) Take time off :

If nothing seems to work, take a break! We can't all be creative 100% of the time, so don't stress yourself out by working 24/7! Take a little vacation, forget about your stresses and let your mind unwind.  A refreshing trip will surely help in clearing out your mind!

For early start-ups, I liked two of your points- Brainstorming Sessions: One’s ideas get new directions and boost with such sessions. Here a mix of young blood and experienced mind, both are very important. Young colleagues or partners can strengthen one’s idea and the experienced mind would be necessary for the roadmap. Second point is taking time off. In today’s hectic student life is making only high-paid labour oriented class who earn money with no time for themselves. World’s top entrepreneurs were not bookish intellectuals but had free mind which could look straight. One more point I would like to add and that is - one should be more society-oriented instead of being self-oriented. Self has limitations while society can make one think larger.

I love the idea of thinking inside the box,a very good point, rather than thinking out of the box,and having a all together a new business plan, why not just improve on something that is already there and make it more efficient and society friendly
